Wagner Paint Sprayer Reviews – Our 3 Favorite Models

As with any paint sprayer, I recommend buying the paint sprayer for your particular needs.   With that being said, a Wagner paint sprayer is typically used to paint around the house and household items.  The list below will cover an overview of each sprayer,   typical uses, cost and   features for each.

Wagner Control Spray Max HVLP Sprayer Review

Overview:  If you have read through any other parts of this website, you know how much I love the Wagner Control Spray Max HVLP Sprayer.

Wagner Control Spray Max HVLP Sprayer

Wagner Control Spray Max HVLP

Because of its versatility (able to paint almost anything in your home) and its low cost I rank this as my #1 choice among Wagner paint sprayer reviews.   Low cost, lightweight, versatile, easy to use, easy to clean, the list goes on and on.   I highly recommend this tool for anyone that is looking to have a quality sprayer to have around their home.

Wagner Control Spray Max Uses:  With the ability to paint a variety of paints, lacquers, and primers the Control Spray Max can be used for almost any project in your home.  Typical uses include interior painting of walls & ceilings, painting of cabinets and furniture and also used to paint any other household items.   While it is great for all of these, I would suggest a different paint gun if you are looking to paint the exterior of your home or painting a car.

One thing that I like the best about the Wagner Control Spray is that it is very easy to use for long periods of time because of it’s small size.   If you are someone that will be painting on a ladder or a scaffold for hours at a time, you know how heavier paint sprayers can take a toll on your hands and forearms.

Cost:  Depending on where you are buying this paint sprayer costs can range anywhere from $100-160.   Like any paint sprayer that I am purchasing I would shop around for the best price available and hopefully use a coupon or other special offer to get a deal.  Online shopping is probably the best option with a local hardware chain being the last place I would check unless there was some type of sale.

Features

  • 3 spray patterns
  • High Volume Low Pressure (HVLP)
  • Ability to spray multiple materials (latex, stains, primers, etc.)
  • 20 foot air hose for extended use
  • Variable flow trigger
  • Lightweight air compressor & unit
